Built By Women is opening its first cohort of builders — designers, developers, writers, marketers — to ship real websites, brands and apps for women-owned and women-led businesses, with senior mentors on the tools alongside you.
Joining is a two-step flow. Both steps are required before you'll be added to a project.

Complete the contributor form
The contributor form tells us who you are, what you're hoping to learn, and what skills you want to put on the table. You must complete it before we can match you onto a project — Discord access alone isn't enough.

What to expect
We're starting small on purpose — the first cohort is meant to feel close, not anonymous. Here's the shape of the commitment.
- Commitment
Roughly six hours a week. We work in short, async-friendly cycles around real client deadlines.
- Level
True beginners welcome. No portfolio, qualifications, or screening required to join.
- Time zone
Open globally via Discord. At this stage members must be able to align with South African hours (SAST, UTC+2).
